SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN VOLUNTEERING FOR THE 2018-2019 SEASON
In order to better meet the needs of the ski club and to always improve registration procedures and respond to some comments received during the survey, the volunteer committee wishes to make some changes to the process. volunteering registration for the 2018-2019 season.
There will be 2 volunteer registration periods:
– The first in early July for positions that require confirmation of volunteers early in the season.
(Deadline July 15 – all details are below)
– The second by mid-October when the race schedule will be confirmed (positions in the race and other positions outside the race)

For the first period, the registration process will take the interests of all rather than having assigned positions. Some positions will remain RESERVED for a variety of reasons (allowing the transfer of knowledge, confirmed positions for 2 years in their second year or other reasons discussed in committee). If several people show an interest and have the necessary prerequisites for the position, a draw will take place.
For the second period, the Time To Sign Up procedure remains in place on a first-come-first basis registered for all positions in the race and the other out-of-race positions except for the chief positions that will be awarded based on the qualifications of the team. the individuals, the racing experience gained as a volunteer and shadow and the person in charge of the races.
